Job Summary
Customer Service Consultant responsible for on-site installation, training, and troubleshooting of Cold Jet equipment across assigned US territories. Duties include preventative maintenance, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing on-site repairs, delivering customer training, owning warranty work, and serving as the primary technical resource. Collaborates with regional sales to identify revenue opportunities, generates leads, maintains accurate records in ERP/CRM systems, and travels to customer sites for demonstrations and service. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills, hands-on diagnostic tool use, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel 50%+.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Field Service Maintenance, or equivalent experience
- Engineering experience a plus
- Proven technical aptitude with hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Experience using multi-meters and diagnostic equipment
- Minimum three years of experience in technical customer service or field service
- Experience selling capital or industrial goods in a B2B environment is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle, including towing a trailer
- Willingness to travel extensively (50% or more) and work irregular hours
