Job Summary

Customer Service Clerk role focused on supporting Customer Service activities: answering and responding to customer calls and emails, documenting inquiries, entering orders, maintaining department paperwork, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely resolution. Responsibilities include tracking and updating orders, researching and resolving complaints, maintaining pricing and vendor data, preparing reports, handling mail and deliveries, and assisting with vendor communications. Requires High School Diploma or GED and strong Microsoft Excel/Word skills, plus excellent oral and written communication, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (required) or GED
  • One year in sales, customer service, retail or wholesale experience strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Office skills: highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Oral and written communication skills are a must
  • Customer service skills, and telephone etiquette
  • Good organizational skills to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to analyze data
  • Ability to use tact and judgment to respond to customer concerns and work cohesively with a team
  • Ability to work efficiently with frequent interruptions
