Job Summary
Provide high-quality customer service at a retail front desk, operating electronic cash registers and money-transfer machines, processing payments, discounts and coupons, assisting with Loyalty Program sign-ups, and bagging items. Also handle money orders, lotto tickets, wire transfers, gift cards, and returns, maintain desk cleanliness, restock displays, and comply with uniform/grooming requirements. Must demonstrate customer-service skills, problem-solving, clear communication, organization, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a large team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience or related experience
- Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and machines for counting money, wire transfer processing, and lottery
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as within a large team
- Reliability and regular attendance
- Adherence to uniform and grooming policy
