Job Summary
Provide high-quality customer service by operating electronic scanning cash registers, receiving payments, and processing transactions for money orders, lotto tickets, and wire transfers. Assist customers with Loyalty Program questions, handle returns, sell gift cards, and manage other daily store operations. Maintain cleanliness of the Customer Service Desk and front area, replace stock in display areas, and adhere to uniform and grooming policies. This role requires multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and working within a large team at Albertsons Companies Inc.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service skills or related experience
- Ability to operate electronic scanning cash registers and machines for counting money, wire transfer processing, and lottery
- Ability to handle stressful and complex situations calmly and professionally
- Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Ability to work independently as well as within a large team
- Ability to provide regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to comply with workplace conduct standards
