Job Summary
Provide customer service by handling merchandise, answering questions, and resolving complaints while maintaining a safe, efficient operation. Perform stocking, display, and general cleanup duties to ensure organized sales floors and back stock areas. Operate checkouts, manage cash handling, and process orders, returns, and transfers. Execute opening and closing procedures, including POS reporting, cash balancing, security checks, and mail sorting. Maintain inventory, verify invoices, and adhere to occupational health, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Related retail experience, including the provision of customer service
- Must be fluent in English
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook
- Previous retail cashier experience
