Job Summary
Answer phone calls from customers regarding warranty and technical issues, troubleshooting problems mechanics face in the field. Build and sustain relationships with clients while providing professional care and resolving concerns. Requires deep knowledge of gas and diesel engines and transmissions, plus experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Complete onsite training in Jasper, Indiana for 6-8 weeks before working onsite at the Jasper facility or nearby branches. Earn $19-21/hour with eligibility for a monthly performance bonus after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Understanding and knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines and transmissions
- 2–4-year automotive degree
- Related automotive industry experience
- Computer knowledge
- Keyboarding skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Communication skills
- Ability to solve problems with advanced knowledge and technical detail in either gas engines, diesel engines, and/or transmissions
- Organized and detail oriented
- Analytical problem solver
- Decision maker
- Ability to complete onsite training in Jasper, Indiana for a minimum of 6-8 weeks
- Ability to work onsite at the Jasper facility or at one of the branches closest to home
Desired Qualifications
- 2–4-year automotive degree and/or related automotive industry experience preferred
