Job Summary
Greet customers, answer phone inquiries, and process payments via cash, check, credit, or automatic debit. Issue refunds or credits with manager approval, then count cash drawers and reconcile sales totals. Prepare and serve customized hot and cold beverages, while maintaining clean checkout areas and completing general cleaning duties. Assist with complaints, answer menu questions, and deliver food and beverage orders to the kitchen or patrons. Clear tables and restock stations, ensuring all food is prepared correctly and returned if improper. Perform other related duties as assigned, including following safe food handling procedures and operating point-of-sale systems. Availability includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately
- Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices
- Ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Must successfully complete restaurants training course
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server preferred
