Job Summary
Greeting patients and serving as the first point of contact at Salud, welcoming patients, checking them in for appointments, and checking them out; supporting a positive, friendly, and efficient front desk experience in a medical-dental-behavioral health environment. Responsibilities include making reminder calls, addressing patient questions and complaints, assisting the care team with coordinating care, and ensuring accurate information entry into electronic health records. Must be able to communicate clearly with patients, work well with the care team, and handle routine clerical tasks while maintaining professionalism and a compassionate, service-oriented attitude. The role may require occasional evening or weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited high school or GED is required
- One year of front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Familiarity with medical/dental terminology preferred
- Ability to work evening or weekend hours
- Computer systems applications (MS Office, PowerPoint, Chrome, etc.)
