Job Summary
Greet customers, operate cash registers for convenience store and gasoline purchases, and handle cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets while checking product expiration dates. Assist with fuel dispensers, perform light janitorial duties, and follow safety protocols in a fast-paced environment. Account for all monies on assigned shifts and maintain a professional demeanor while standing or walking for the duration of the 2pm–10pm shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible to work various schedules
- Must have the ability to accurately handle money
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must be able to do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Regularly lift and or move up to 20-50 pounds
- Must maintain a professional appearance and abide by the Dress Code Policy
- Must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor towards customers and fellow employees
- Must be comfortable working in a convenience store environment
- Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
- 2pm-10pm
