Job Summary
Operate cash registers, greet customers, and assist with fuel dispensers while handling cash, cigarettes, and lottery tickets. Account for all monies on assigned shifts, check product expiration dates, and perform light janitorial duties. Follow proper safety protocols and procedures in a fast-paced convenience store environment. Work Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2:00pm to 10:00pm reporting to the Retail Store Manager. Maintain a professional appearance and friendly demeanor while standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be flexible to work various schedules
- Must have the ability to accurately handle money
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be capable of effectively communicating with customers and co-workers
- Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated
- Must be able to do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
- Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Regularly lift and or move up to 20-50 pounds
- Must maintain a professional appearance and abide by the Dress Code Policy
- Must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor towards customers and fellow employees
- Must be able to work Wednesdays and Thursdays : 2:00pm - 10:00pm
