Job Summary
Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely while merchandising, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors. Manage sales transactions on the assigned cash register, ensuring security of cash and company assets. Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions while performing other duties as assigned. This role supports daily store operations at a Dollar Tree location in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, offering a career path within a company focused on customer experiences and employee wellness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
