Job Summary
Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in accordance with productivity standards. Merchandising and stocking as needed while ensuring store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping floors, and maintaining neat areas. Assist customers and leaders with professional interactions, manage sales transactions on the assigned cash register, and maintain security of cash and company assets. Perform other duties as assigned. This role supports daily store operations at Dollar Tree locations across the US, offering a career path within a company focused on creating memorable shopping experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
