Job Summary
Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely while merchandising and stocking assigned areas. Maintain store cleanliness by cleaning restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and ensuring all spaces remain neat. Assist customers and leaders with professional, friendly interactions while managing sales transactions on the assigned cash register. Secure cash and protect company assets throughout the shift. Perform other duties as assigned, including front-end support when needed. This role supports the daily operations of our store to create an inviting shopping experience for customers.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- High level of integrity
- Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
