Job Summary
Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate I to assist customers, process transactions at the checkout, and maintain store cleanliness and stock. Responsibilities include helping customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions, stocking and restocking merchandise, unloading trucks, and ensuring a safe, positive, and respectful store environment. The role requires lifting 30-50 lbs, frequent walking and standing, and strong communication and organizational skills. The position is part-time at the Valdosta, Georgia location, with a customer-focused, team-oriented work setting, and includes typical retailer perks and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
- Part-time employment
