Job Summary
Customer Service Associate I at Family Dollar in Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, processing sales transactions at the register, maintaining store cleanliness, stocking and restocking merchandise, receiving merchandise and unloading trucks, ensuring a safe and respectful environment, and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
