Job Summary
Customer Service Associate I flexible, team-oriented role focused on delivering a positive shopping experience: assist customers with questions and recommendations; manage sales transactions at the register; maintain cash security; stock and replenish merchandise; unload trucks; ensure store cleanliness and safety; foster a respectful environment; handle duties such as cleaning and restocking bathrooms, floors, and trash; participate in miscellaneous assigned tasks. Requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs and maintain physical duties; emphasizes customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Located in Grandy, NC; part-time position at a Family Dollar store with typical retail responsibilities and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
