Job Summary
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, money orders, cash advances, cashiers' checks, and night drop bags. Reconcile cash drawers by proving cash transactions, counting, and packaging currency and coins. Perform account services, respond to inquiries with in-depth product knowledge, and support business development through in-branch sales and direct mailing campaigns. Report under the Bank Secrecy Act requirements for CTRs, SARs, and internal tracking. Perform New Account and File Maintenance reviews for SOX 404 compliance, make decisions within authority on overdrafts and overrides, and cross-train on teller windows and banking platforms. Hourly wage ranges from $22 to $29.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year retail banking experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Universal Banker, Relationship Banker, Customer Service Associate/Representative, Financial Service Associate
- Cash-handling experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Advanced PC, Network, E-Mail, Director, Internet, Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Transaction Research experience
- Strong problem-solving skills to effectively uncover and resolve customer issues
- Thorough understanding of compliance and record keeping requirements
