Job Summary
Customer Service Associate handles cashiering, customer interactions, and donor inquiries in a retail environment. Responsibilities include answering questions, resolving problems, processing refunds and discounts, managing POS transactions, balancing cash drawer, monitoring merchandise on hold, maintaining Lost and Found, keeping a clean and safe work area, and delivering high levels of customer service. Requires ability to operate the POS system, communicate effectively, and work with limited supervision; prior retail/customer service experience and comfort with Microsoft Office tools are preferred. This in-store role reports to the Store Manager and supports a DEI-conscious team across multiple Goodwill locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalency
- Minimum 1 year retail/customer service experience
- Computer/Technology Skills: Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
