Job Summary
Provide customer service in a retail environment, operate a cash register, manage sales transactions, stock replenishment and unload merchandise, maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, ensure areas are neat, and engage with customers and team members professionally; duties include assisting customers with questions and recommendations and contributing to a safe, positive store environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
- Strong organizational and communication skills are required
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
