Job Summary
Assist customers with questions and recommendations while managing sales transactions and maintaining security of cash and company assets. Keep the store well-stocked by receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and performing stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards. Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment by ensuring cleanliness throughout the store, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and taking out the trash. Perform other duties as assigned, including following instructions and interpreting operational documents. This role requires the ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and involves frequent walking, standing, and repetitive lifting. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
