Job Summary
As a Customer Service Associate at Big Lots, you will provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, processing freight, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. You must possess customer focus, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage customer engagements positively. Physical requirements include regular lifting of merchandise and working in a retail setting with fluctuating temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
- Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. from floor level to above shoulder height and engage in frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting and repetitive lifting.
