Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store. This role involves unloading trucks, processing freight, recovering merchandise, and stocking shelves. Key skills include customer focus, strong organizational skills, and effective communication. Physical requirements include the ability to lift merchandise and maintain a clean, organized store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height.
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, approachable manner.
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments.
- Ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents as assigned.
