Job Summary
Assist customers with questions and recommendations while managing sales transactions and maintaining security of cash. Keep the store well-stocked by receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and restocking in accordance with productivity standards. Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, and ensuring all areas are neat. Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders. Perform other duties as assigned, including lifting between 30 and 50 lbs. and meeting demands of frequent walking and standing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment
- Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
- Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- Ability to meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
