Job Summary
Permanent part-time on-call Customer Service and Ramp Agent in Kelowna handling passenger check-in, boarding, baggage processing, reservations, and flight coordination. Responsibilities include check-in, boarding/disembarking, baggage handling, processing payments, resolving disruptions, and operating ground service tasks while delivering a safe, friendly passenger experience. Requires customer-facing experience, a BC driver's license, ability to lift up to 70 pounds, outdoor work, flexibility to work weekends/holidays, strong communication, adaptability in a time-sensitive environment, and ability to obtain security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in customer-facing role
- A valid BC driver's license (Class 5 preferred)
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
- Clear and effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to have difficult conversations
- Ability to work in a time-sensitive, ever changing environment where multitasking and problem solving are key attributes
- Comfortable using computers, credit and debit machines
- Able to work outdoors during inclement weather conditions
- Flexible to work any day of the week, including weekends, evenings, holidays and/or irregular shifts
- Must represent Pacific Coastal Airlines in a professional manner to our partners, vendors, and customers
- Must be able to obtain and maintain designated security clearance
- Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
