Job Summary
Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights, monitor computerized passenger boarding, and guide or park aircraft. Operate the Jetway, load and unload baggage and cargo, and perform cabin maintenance tasks. Change customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as required while working with special needs passengers, including arranging for wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors. Operate motorized service vehicles and equipment in the airport ramp environment. Complete the Customer Service Agent training course and work all shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays. Lift seventy pounds regularly and work outside in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of training course
- Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high energy environment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask
- Valid driver's license
- Clear driving record
- 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- Drug screen
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to lift seventy (70) pounds
- Work outside in all weather conditions
- All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts
- Physical ability to handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly
- Physical ability to assist passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous airline experience
- Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
