Job Summary
Customer Service Agent interacts with customers in a courteous, efficient, friendly and professional manner. Starting pay is $19.64 per hour. Responsibilities include issuing, reissuing and refunding tickets, booking reservations, rebooking in irregular operations, passenger check-in and seating, issuing vouchers, operating gate equipment and boarding announcements, processing baggage, assisting with special needs, and ensuring compliance with FAA/DOT/TSA guidelines. Requires high school diploma or GED; bilingual skills in some locations; ability to obtain SIDA badges; and must pass background checks and drug screening. This role involves on-site airport duties with mandatory overtime and travel-support functions as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual language skills required in some locations
- Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities
- Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA)
- Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
- Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
