Job Summary
Customer Service Agent in Piedmont Airlines Ground Handling. Responsibilities include assisting passengers with boarding/disembarking flights, operating the Jetway, monitoring computerized boarding, assisting customers with special needs (wheelchairs and unaccompanied minors), changing flight itineraries and seat assignments, loading/unloading baggage and cargo, operating service vehicles and equipment, guiding/parking aircraft, and performing cabin maintenance tasks. Requires ability to complete training, perform physical tasks including lifting up to 70 pounds, and work outside in all weather. All shifts including weekends, nights, holidays and/or irregular shifts; 16.00 hourly rate; emphasis on teamwork, high-energy customer service, and compliance with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record (as required)
- Background check (10-year)
- Drug screen as required
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
