Job Summary
Provide wheelchair assistance and security/porter services in an airport environment; escort passengers to airline counters and gates, maintain security protocols, manage wheelchair demand by retrieving/returning wheelchairs from terminals and designated points, report irregularities, maintain equipment, and support passenger service operations at Checkpoints, Ramp, Door, Catering and Search. Maintain a professional appearance and strong communication to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced terminal setting; requires the ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and to pass a background investigation. Part-time role with varied shifts; requires working in an active airport environment and coordinating with airline staff and passengers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
- Capable of maintaining positive and professional relationships with both colleagues and clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels, including the general public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
