Job Summary
Customer Service Agent at Southwest Airlines responsible for welcoming Customers at the ticket counter, gate area, and baggage service office; provide friendly, high-quality service; assist with check-in, ticketing, baggage handling, and related transactions; operate a computerized point-of-sale system, process payments, resolve problems, and answer general inquiries; maintain a cooperative team environment and adapt to a fast-moving airport setting, including handling delays or disruptions and communicating flight information; meet training requirements (training program with 80%+ average) and be able to work varied shifts as per seniority; maintain grooming standards and ability to work in confined spaces; U.S. citizenship or valid work authorization required; physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 70 pounds and extensive standing; role governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement with specific wage scales and benefits; no sponsorship for work authorization.
