Job Summary
Customer Service Agent in Piedmont Airlines' Ground Handling Department delivering aviation-focused service: assist passengers with boarding/disembarking, operate the Jetway, monitor boarding, assist customers with special needs (wheelchairs, unaccompanied minors), modify flight itineraries and seat assignments, load/unload baggage and cargo, operate motorized equipment, guide/park aircraft, and perform cabin maintenance tasks. Requires completing the training course, ability to lift 70 pounds, and outdoor work in all weather. Reports to the General Manager; shifts include weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Successful completion of Airport Customer Service training course
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Experience working in airport ground handling or customer service preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clear driving record
- 10-year Criminal History Records Check and drug screen as required
