Job Summary
Customer Service Advisor at Valvoline Instant Oil Change (Cranbury, NJ) responsible for greeting guests, presenting oil change options and preventive maintenance services, delivering exceptional customer service, and participating in a training program to become proficient with company products and knowledge. Requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, physical ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to cross-train as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable suggesting additional services to guests based on inspection and/or manufacturer and VIOC recommendations
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive face-to-face interaction with guests
- Positive, friendly attitude; customer-service mentality and the ability to be a team player
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment; demonstrates an effective sense of urgency / energy
- Fluent in English (reading / writing / speaking); Fluency in Spanish not required, but helpful
- Possesses the desire and ability to learn
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Has full body mobility; ability to twist, turn, bend at the waist, squat and go up / down stairs
- Able to work on feet for extended periods of time with hands above the head
- Willing to be top-side technician cross-trained
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
