Job Summary
Provide customer service to assist customers by phone and in person at the facility, clarify needs, research, and recommend parts; strive to meet/exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction; handle quotes, take orders, and provide post-order service; use strong communication to build relationships with customers and leverage mechanical aptitude to help solve problems when needed; opportunity for growth toward sales or management with a clear development path; benefits include base salary with incentives, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and ongoing training; company emphasizes equal opportunity and a people-first culture; location is Big Flats, NY (USA).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver''s license and clean driving record (MVR)
- Excellent telephone and written skills, including English grammar
- Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook & Excel) and Google search
- SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
- Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
