Customer Sales & Service Representative

Job Summary
Assist customers by phone and in person, clarifying their needs, conducting research, and recommending parts to meet monthly sales goals while increasing satisfaction. Process quotes, take orders, and provide post-order service, utilizing mechanical aptitude to help solve customer problems or troublesome processes when needed. Build ongoing business relationships through repeated contact and consultation, focusing on quickly providing the right parts or solutions for equipment breakdowns. Maintain strong prioritization and multitasking skills to exceed expectations in this role with a global industrial distribution partner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of customer service experience preferred
- SAP / ERP experience, preferred but not required
- Some knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred but not required
