Job Summary
Customer Sales Rep responsible for assisting customers with purchases of firearms, Class III items, ammunition, tactical gear, hunting and outdoor equipment, plus men’s and women’s apparel. Duties include providing high-level customer service, greeting customers, resolving issues, maintaining the store, processing and completing 4473 and related documents with accuracy, staying knowledgeable about product offerings, remaining impartial in sales, and efficiently closing sales to meet store goals. Reports to the store manager or Department Lead; requires attention to directions and willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous sales or customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Working knowledge of 4473 paperwork and FBI NICS system preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Cash handling and cash register experience is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills, including effective communication both orally and written
- Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, communicate and interact with people positively
- Positive attitude, goal driven, customer service oriented
