Customer Sales Rep - Part Time

Job Summary
Greet customers in a timely manner and assist them with purchasing selections including firearms, ammunition, tactical gear, hunting and fishing equipment, and apparel. Resolve customer issues to the best of your ability while maintaining impartiality and closing sales to meet store goals. Complete Federal Firearms Transfer Records (4473) and other related documents with 100% accuracy, utilizing a high working knowledge of product offerings and the FBI NICS system. Maintain the store through sweeping, dusting, restocking, and fronting duties. This part-time role requires regular evening, weekend, and holiday work, with employees reporting directly to the store manager or Department Lead.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous sales or customer service experience
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to complete Federal Firearms Transfer Records (4473) and other related documents with 100% accuracy
- Must be at least 18 years old
- A commitment to following directions is required
Desired Qualifications
- Working knowledge of 4473 paperwork and the FBI NICS system preferred
- Cash handling and previous cash register experience is a plus
- Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, communicate and generally interact with people in a positive way
- Positive attitude, goal driven, customer service oriented, and focused on overall strategic picture of the organization
