Job Summary
Prospect, develop, and close new domestic freight business; manage and grow an active book of business through relationship building and consistent follow-up; understand customer shipping needs and propose tailored logistics solutions; collaborate closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure service excellence; maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity; stay informed on market trends, capacity shifts, and pricing dynamics; meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain preferred
- Proven ability to hunt, negotiate, and close new business
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience within logistics, transportation, or supply chain (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of domestic freight modes (TL, LTL, intermodal) is a plus
