Job Summary
Handle inbound and outbound sales and service calls to resolve issues, determine customer needs, and close sales while maintaining accurate customer records. Maintain in-depth knowledge of Suburban Propane products, billing processes, and delivery policies to effectively manage account data, including setting up new accounts. Utilize a proactive sales approach with every interaction to uncover additional opportunities and develop trusting relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Present a professional, confident, and enthusiastic image to support excellent customer service and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry and the ability to run and analyze reports
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
