Job Summary
Handle a high volume of incoming calls ensuring customer service quality, efficiency, and accuracy by resolving issues, determining needs, offering products, and closing sales. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Suburban Propane products, billing processes, and delivery policies while managing customer account data, including setting up new accounts and maintaining related records. Utilize a proactive sales approach with every interaction to uncover additional opportunities and present a professional image to develop trusting relationships. This role supports excellent customer service, retention, and new acquisition within a nationwide distributor serving approximately 1 million customers across 42 states.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, data entry and the ability to run and analyze reports
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED preferred
