Job Summary
Customer Service Representative responsibilities include handling external customer questions, complaints, and shipment tracking via phone and email with a high degree of courtesy and professionalism. Core duties include answering incoming calls, notifying customers of freight availability, data entry for domestic and international bills, maintaining driver sign-in and cash logs, organizing files, daily outbound shipment audits, AS400 operations, inbound manifest closeout, timely e-mail responses, and preparation of in-bond documentation and related paperwork for smaller stations. Must maintain positive corporate image in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, and possess strong verbal and written communications skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ideal candidate will demonstrate a can-do attitude, ability to meet deadlines, teamwork across departments, and experience with logistics/documents such as bills of lading, master air waybills, and TSA forms.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass basic hazardous materials training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
