Job Summary
Customer Relations Coordinator responsible for handling external customer questions, complaints and shipment tracking inquiries via phone and email, performing data entry on bills, maintaining logs and documents (including bills of lading and in-bond documentation), and supporting outbound/inbound shipments. The role requires use of AS400 and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), adherence to procedures, ability to resolve issues with courtesy and professionalism, and maintaining logs and logs-related spreadsheets. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pass hazardous materials training, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced transportation environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to pass basic hazardous materials training
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to perform general administrative duties; data entry, filing, etc.
- Understanding of industry documents (bill of lading, master air way bills, tsa forms, etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with AS400 operating systems is a plus
