Job Summary
Answer incoming customer calls, emails, and chat inquiries regarding shipment status, standard service questions, and basic issue resolution. Document all interactions thoroughly in internal systems, process basic shipment change requests, and review tracking history to communicate delays or next steps. Monitor shared inboxes, navigate multiple platforms while following established scripts and SOPs, and proactively escalate complex issues to senior staff. Participate in team meetings and training to improve skills, build relationships with internal sales and operations teams, and maintain regular attendance for this on-site role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Solid computer proficiency
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple systems, platforms, and web browsers
- Ability to type 35+ wpm with strong accuracy
- Strong customer service orientation
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Professional telephone manner
- Demonstrated ability to multitask
- Demonstrated ability to manage a steady workload
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information
- Proficiency with common office technologies
- Proficiency with Windows PCs
- Proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Proficiency with web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)
- Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting
- Travel for related meetings/events
