Job Summary
Greet customers as they enter the store, handle merchandise with care, and provide information and direction. Secure firearms with trigger locks, check in vendor representatives, and complete visitor log information. Process customer returns, complete refund/exchange paperwork, and sort items by category. Sell Hunting and Fishing Licenses, administer incentive programs, and promote CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and making product recommendations. Maintain a clean, neat work area stocked with supplies while following all company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system
- Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience
