Job Summary
Act as the central contact for all quality and customer satisfaction topics for an automotive OE customer, managing regular proactive communication on quality matters. Report customer view KPIs and ensure execution of effective improvement measures while leading de-escalation efforts for serious or long-lasting claims. Represent the customer's perspective in development projects to ensure relevant requirements are considered and oversee successful PPAPs through APQP scheduling and tracking. Control product, process, and project maturity during development, requesting early corrections or escalating deviations immediately. This role supports a dedicated team within the automotive industry, focusing on advanced quality planning, SPC, and production processes for series production.
Required Qualifications
- University degree with focus on mechanical engineering or business engineering with a technical focus or a comparable technical graduation
- Broad knowledge and many years of experience in advance quality planning for development projects as well as in quality assurance, SPC and production processes for series production in the automotive OE industry
- Verifiable execution experience with quality methods as FMEA, control plan, SPC, MSA, PCA etc.
- Experience with quality tools like CAQ-SW, preferred BabtecCAQ, SAP-QM and analysis tools as QS-Stat
- Proven records of project work in automotive OE customer development projects
- Experience with all standard computer software as all kind of MS-office applications
- Affinity for digitalization of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Skills in German (optional but preferred for ease of collaboration)
