Job Summary
Coordinate daily purchasing operations, manage purchase orders, and ensure orders are placed and received on schedule at the correct cost. Administer policies and procedures related to purchasing functions while developing thorough knowledge of the Premier system. Resolve purchase order discrepancies with the Material management and Accounts Payable teams, verify pricing, track orders, and manage back orders. Serve as a liaison between Purchasing and healthcare facility operational areas to ensure client satisfaction and effective collaboration. Provide project support and status updates to Directors, Operations Managers, and Supervisors. Comply with all safety policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Customer/vendor credentialing
- Customer/vendor credentialing (this may include vaccinations)
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
- Proficient experience using Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
