Job Summary
Handle all customer inquiries, requests, and complaints regarding electric service establishment and maintenance. Determine demand, load factor, projected revenue, and proper metering equipment while applying tariffs, rules, and regulations. Design, prepare sketches, cost estimates, and necessary orders for construction and maintenance of electric transmission and distribution facilities. Coordinate work orders and activities to provide timely customer service. Requires an Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field, valid US driver's license, and ADM Exam. Compliance with 10 CFR 810 is required; storm restoration may necessitate extended hours or alternate locations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science from an accredited engineering or technological school
- Curriculums must be from an ABET or equivalent accredited engineering or technical school or program
- A valid US driver's license
- ADM Exam
- Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810
- Citizen or national of the USA
- Lawful permanent resident of the United States (Non-Conditional Permanent I-551 / Green Card / Permanent Resident Card holder)
- Citizen, national, or permanent resident of a 'Generally Authorized' destination on the attached list and not also a citizen, national, permanent resident of any country not listed
- 'Protected Individual' under the Immigration and Naturalization Act (8 U.S.C 1324b(a)(3))
