Job Summary
Execute standard and repeat quoting and order management for "factory direct" customers while ensuring all contractual obligations are implemented and maintained. Champion the voice of the customer by partnering with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to meet requirements, grow sales, and deliver solutions with speed and accuracy. Communicate with customers and internal functions to fully understand needs, monitor plans for expedite requests and recovery plans, and collaborate with facility personnel to establish standard product lead times. Prepare and arrange customer visits, business reviews, and audits at manufacturing sites, and provide input for Quarterly Business Reviews and forecasting processes. Work with the Customer Operations team to achieve sales and key metric performance goals, including order acknowledgement and quote cycle times, while identifying process improvement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in medical device or related field
- Sales and service acumen
- Ability to communicate effectively across the organization throughout all levels both verbally and written
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Demonstrated ability to be organized and adaptable to meet business deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Customer focused, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Extreme responsiveness and resilient
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office products)
Desired Qualifications
- Medical device manufacturing experience preferred
- Experience reading and understanding design drawings and specifications preferred
- Experience with Oracle and/or JDE is a plus
