Job Summary
Customer Marketing Manager drives end-to-end activation by turning brand and category strategies into customer-led plans across defined channels, customers, or geographic areas. Responsibilities include developing annual area-specific plans aligned to brand objectives; translating brand into shopper- and channel-specific activations; briefing and managing agencies for POS and promotional materials; partnering with Sales to support customer pitches and meetings; managing A&P investment with ROI tracking; ensuring adherence to responsible alcohol marketing standards and industry regulations; leading cross-functional projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency. The role requires strong collaboration across Brand, Category/Insights, Sales, and external partners, plus proficiency in activation planning, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or a related discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in customer, shopper or trade marketing, or related commercial or brand roles within FMCG, beverages or wine
- Demonstrated experience delivering below-the-line activation and customer-led initiatives
- Experience managing agencies across POS, design and activation development
- Strong stakeholder management capability across Sales, Marketing, Category/Insights and external partners
- Strong commercial and channel acumen, with insight-led planning capability
- Proven project and process management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol marketing standards and industry compliance
