Job Summary
Customer Marketing Manager at Time Doctor owning the post-sale marketing function. This solo ownership role focuses on ensuring existing customers are engaged, successful, expanding, and advocates for Time Doctor. Develop and run lifecycle campaigns (onboarding, feature adoption, renewal windows, expansion triggers) using product usage data to segment audiences and deliver timely communications. Partner with Customer Success to identify at-risk accounts and drive proactive retention, and build campaigns to drive expansion revenue (upsell, cross-sell, seat growth). Own TD Academy content and learning roadmap to influence adoption and retention. Build and manage the customer advocacy program with testimonials and case studies, and drive reviews on key platforms. Design and run customer feedback programs (NPS, surveys) to surface insights informing marketing strategy, product priorities, and messaging. Collaborate across Sales, Product, and Marketing to incorporate launches and feature updates into campaigns, and measure impact on retention, expansion, and advocacy metrics. The role requires a commercially minded marketer who can write effectively, use data to personalize outreach at scale, and work well in a remote, async-first environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in customer marketing, lifecycle marketing, or a customer-focused B2B SaaS marketing role
- Proven experience building and running customer advocacy, retention, or expansion programs
- Strong understanding of customer journey mapping, lifecycle segmentation, and post-sale marketing motions
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve content production, personalization, or campaign efficiency
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (HubSpot experience strongly preferred)
- Ability to analyze customer data and product usage signals to inform targeting and program design
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
