Job Summary
Supervise, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day logistics operations while collaborating with the Logistics Manager to review processes and ensure they meet company standards and customer service specifications. Establish work schedules and procedures, coordinate worker activities for optimal shift logistics, and monitor progress toward business objectives through regular team meetings and individual performance coaching. Accountable for site Key Performance Indications, implement health and safety initiatives, and address performance problems through corrective action and disciplinary processes. Provide orientation for employees and Lead Hands, ensuring adherence to labor agreements and company policies. Monday-Saturday, 05:00am-05:00pm (flexible required); salary $65,000-$70,000.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- One (1) year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment
- 0 to One (1) year direct supervisory/leadership experience
- DOT Regulated
