Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations and account management within the Dedicated Transportation Solutions vertical, leading direct reports to achieve daily operational goals. Manage customer service satisfaction, staffing performance, and employee development while ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. Plan and schedule resources effectively, handling off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises. Make timely decisions in complex situations and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels. Utilize advanced technology and analytical skills to solve unusual problems within international functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma/GED
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain
- Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field
- One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
- Logistics industry knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations
- Fundamental knowledge of Supply Chain Management components
- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing and Production
- Ability to work within international functional teams
- High level analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult
- Demonstrated technical and professional skills in job-related area
- Off shift support in the event of critical customer network disruption or crisis
- Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
